Convoy of Hope
Convoy of Hope is a humanitarian, faith-based organization dedicated to serving people who are impoverished, hungry, and hurting around the world. They will also be partnering with GVCC in future community outreaches here in Watsonville.
Pregnancy Resource Center – Watsonville
The Pregnancy Resource Center is a pro-life ministry serving women and families in our community by providing support, resources, and life-affirming alternatives to abortion.
Teen Challenge
Teen Challenge serves men, women, and children struggling with life-controlling issues such as addiction, abuse, and other destructive behaviors. Their Christ-centered program provides spiritual, emotional, physical, social, and educational support to help individuals find lasting freedom and restoration.
Global Ministries
Jaivie Robles – Italy
Jaivie serves as a missionary in Italy, sharing the Gospel and ministering throughout Europe.
Isaiah Gilliam – Santa Cruz Chi Alpha
Isaiah serves with Chi Alpha Campus Ministries at the University of California, Santa Cruz. His mission is to build relationships with college students, help them grow in their faith, and connect them with a strong Christian community on campus. He is passionate about raising up a generation of believers who will impact the world with the Gospel.
Liz & Mario – Ecuador
Liz and Mario visited and shared their ministry with our church in 2025. They serve as missionaries in Ecuador, ministering in impoverished communities by helping build schools and sharing the love of Christ with children and families.
Gabe & April Carrillo – China
Gabe and April also shared their ministry with our church in 2025. They serve in China through educational ministry, impacting students while faithfully representing Christ.
Henry & Yvonne Smith – Ecuador
Henry and Yvonne have faithfully served as missionaries in Ecuador for many years. GVCC has been honored to partner with and support their ministry over the years.
Bob & Cilinia Bueno – El Salvador
Bob and Cilinia have faithfully served as missionaries in El Salvador for many years. GVCC has supported their ministry for a long time, and they have maintained a close relationship with our church family.
Scott & Marisa Smith – Spain
Scott has served as a missionary in Spain for over 50 years. Marisa, a native of Spain, has ministered alongside him since they planted their first church together in Barcelona in 1978. Since then, they have planted four churches, assisted more than 70 church plants, and dedicated their lives to developing pastors and Christian leaders throughout Spain. Marisa currently serves as President of the Spain Bible School, while Scott continues mentoring young ministers and supporting church planting efforts in this spiritually needy nation.
