For years with your help, we have brought down Christmas gifts to the kids at Door of Faith, an orphanage in Mexico that our church has adopted and served for over a decade. This year we will be doing things a little differently. Instead of a $25 sponsorship per child, we are asking for a donation of your choice in exchange for a photo of the child you choose to sponsor. This Sunday, December 8th we will have a Christmas tree in the lobby with all the smiling faces of Door of Faith hung on it. You can hang your money donation in place of the photo of your child. Then as a church family, we will send a love offering down to the orphanage. It's sure to be a fun time filled with love! Let's bless the socks off our firends at Door of Faith!
Other Ways to Give This Christmas Season....
Green Valley Church is joining with "Toys 4 Tots" to give children (babies - 14 yrs old) in our local community a present for Christmas! How can you help? You can bring a new, un-gift wrapped toy to our office anytime during office hours. If you have any questions, please call the church office at 724-1424.
Our kids at Green Valley Church are partnering with the Green Valley Christian School kids in a Shoe Drive! Kids can bring a new pair of shoes in their size wrapped in brown paper (with the size and gender of the shoe written on the outside) to church or preschool Sunday. All shoes will go to the Salvation Army. If you have any questions please contact Pastor Jeff Herring or the church office.
